The final version of the EE rhytm

Hi all,
I started a new topic, since I've finished the EE Rhytm unit with all working well.
I've also changed a few components to improve the overall sound.
I made use of the control knobs and switches on the front panel.
Hereby included a new recording with different settings of the knobs and controls.
Layout of the components is the same as before, only a minor changes and a complete new wiring to the console.

Hi,

thank you for your latest input. I just found some time to build this machine, but was not able to switch it on or even test it until now. So I will wait for your new wiring scheme using the front panel. I have attached two of them - that seem to be more than enough potentiometers, but understanding your circuit right means that I may add some more switches...

Find attached some photos of my two-level building.

Addition: The last photo shows a transistor solded on of the "universal PCB modules". They were created by user level5 and distributed in another thread. I printed some original transistor layouts on a self-adhesive sheet with a color laser printer. Then put them onto the green PCBs and then tightened them with some frosted transparent varnish. Looks quite like the original :-)

Hallo JeaLuc,

das Du für einfache Transistoren so viel Original brauchst, hätte ich nicht erwartet. Die Idee mit dem Klarlack zum stabilisieren des Aufklebers finde ich gut. Da ich ebenfalls viel mit Aufklebern auf Platinen arbeite, werde ich das mal testen.

eigentlich ist mir das auch nicht so wichtig. Aber irgendwo hab ich mal so eine Schablone im Internet entdeckt, und da hat es mich gejuckt, das mal auszuprobieren. Du findest meine Druckvorlage im Wiki.

Darn !
By checking I found a few mistakes in the wiring diagram of the tempo generators, so I will inclkude here the corrected version. Sorry.

The major changes with the final version are switches and pots used on the front panel. The 10k pot controls the bass drum intensity, the 47k pot controls the decay of the snare drum.
The 3 switches control the open or closed hihat and snare drum.
Also, a new circuit around the opamp, a 68k resistor for R7 and a transistor T4 for noise generation. Try several or a BC547 for best results.

On the tempo generator board a resistor change to 100k ( the resistor R19 connected in series with the 220nF ) and an OR circuit. Also a new wiring between the sound board and control panel.
